Stress and Doctor Who

Hey all, After a long break from blogging i'm back!

So what've I been up to? Well, Melody and Myself celebrated our one year anniversary at the end of december, I nearly had a breakdown because of exam stress, but recovered, and now im nearly having another one because of my Music Tech Coursework.

On the 25th I turned 18! WOO! Been drinkin' a bit, and Mel's told me off because she doesn't want me to become an Alcoholic! To be honest, she should be more worried about my latest addiction.

The doctor. Yep, since getting the Full Revived series box-set for my 18th i'v watched series's two and three fully, and i'm well into Series four. I missed series one out because I'v seen the repeats far too many times.

Christmas Presents and Fallen Angels

Iv Finally finished all of my Christmas Shopping. Thank God!!! Ended up getting a bit of a loan for my shopping, but it was worth it, as its all just about finished. The next thing il need to do is wrap and write, then Il be sorted.

Today I want to talk about love a little. In my life i'v met a variety of beautiful people, and by beautiful I don't necessarily mean physically "phwoar" (Although many of them have both types of beauty). These people have made my life not only happier, but more varied and exciting. These people have helped me, supported me, raised me up when I fell, showed me the light and gave me the power to push forward through life. These people, my family and true friends, have enriched my days on earth thus far.

I believe that certain friendships and bonds are destined to start, and that these angels are rarer than gold. Their rarity is due to the ease they can be lost.

Im sure we've all lost good friends in the past. Lets all make a pact to never let another good friend down; Its harder to lose one than gain one, remember that.

Doctor Cartoon Barbie Girl! My Oh My!

From the title, I'm sure you guess what my subject is today!
I just found out the best news i'v ever heard!...

AQUA HAVE REFORMED!!!

...Well...maybe you arn't that impressed, and you probably arn't jumping for joy. I don't know why not though, I did!. Still, you have to see the significance of this! Lately i'v been pointing out that a huge number of 90's stars have got back together of late, just like all the 80's stars did in the 90's. Coincidence I think not!

But anyway, to the subject at hand; Aqua.

Their most famous track is arguable Barbie Girl. Even though it is regarded as one of the puffiest, pinkest and most annoying tracks of the 90's, no-one can deny that they liked it at some point. Everyone cringes at Doctor Jones and barely anyone remember's Cartoon Heroes.
They just evaporated from the public viewpoint one day, and it wasn't actually until a few years ago that I realised they had broken up!
Well, they're back with a bang! Their New track, "Back to the 80's" is a proper doozy! Its like Barbie Girl, but GOOD. I will definately be putting the new album on my Christmas List! xD

I am not ashamed to say that I am a Straight, MALE Aqua Fan. Here is the new song, have a listen. Its shamefully amazing. Especially the MJ line. I always sing along to "Commodore 64".

Jedward and another rant about Zealots

It really feels like a sunday night. However, it is now closer to monday morning, and by the end of this blog it probably will be. I haven't been bothered to blog lately, personal statements and shit getting in the way. Been trying to catch up with work and stuff. I'v also refound King's Quest, the old 1980's/90's adventure games by roberta williams and Sierra online. Brilliant stuff.

Tonight I heard an awesome bit of news...JEDWARD ARE OUT OF THE X-FACTOR!. And so, my Boycott shall end. All due respect to them, but they couldn't sing for toffee!!! Enjoyed Spider-Man 3; I love how Harry O turned part of the Sandman into glass with his fire. LOL!

Anyway, was just looking through my bookmarks and I accidentally clicked onto my favorite comedy site- http://www.freetractsource.co.uk/ - where overzealous christians can find pointless bits of paper to hand out to random people in town squares and at gigs. Y'know, the kind of people who have A. A very strong belief in god and the bible, who attempts to convert people to extreme christianity through scare tactics and denouncing solid scientific explaination with fake science. People who B. Have nothing else to do, and really need to get a life.
Really! STOP TRYING TO SAVE ME! Going to hell would be the only way i'd ever get a tan anyway.

I can't watch that video past the first two minutes. Its filmed at sheffield fright night, where his group of NINE zealots are preaching, handing out propogandous bullshit and being generally anal. He says early on in the video, "Halloween is a pagan tradition...has nothing to do with christians" SO WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ALL THERE!!! IF IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU, WHY BOTHER GOING?... "because we want to save people from eternal damnation, via teaching them the error of their ways in going ot such an event", would probably be the response. So allow me to quote a description of Fright Night 2009, from the official website...

"Fright Night is Britain’s biggest Halloween party, attracting 38,000 people into the City Centre each year and has become a Sheffield institution! Always staged on the Sunday before Halloween, we close the roads around Fargate, Barkers Pool, Peace Gardens, Surrey Street, Leopold Street, Orchard Square, Millennium Square & Winter Gardens for this ‘mass promenade’ event. So, here's the million pound question; What is so pagan about Funfair Rides, Street Theatre, Stormtroopers, Doctor Who, Arts and Crafts, Childrens activities, Food and Samba Music!?!?
Ghost trains and haunted houses are just harmless scare-self shitless fun, and ghost tours arn't exactly a oigee board and a child sacrifice are they!! These people really piss me off. I have NOTHING against christianity, BUT I wish people would keep their beliefs to THEMSELVES.
So, I shall point out my stance on Christianity.

DO NOT TRY TO SAVE ME. DO NOT PREACH AT ME. Here's some blasphamy- God's sake, Jesus Christ, bloody spirit!! If heaven would mean an eternity talking to you, i'd rather burn for eternity, because theres a slight chance that one day, I may learn to enjoy it. 35,000 of Us, 9 of you. Frankly, why do you bother. Stop trying to convert us and get on with your lives.

Songs and Scares

Halloween has come and gone since my last blog! I had a good night, Mel dressed up in skimpy tights for me, and got whistled at near the pub. She also developed a taste for WKD blue.

Iv been songwriting lately, and I think i'm going to post my two initial thoughts on here. Its called "Mr Brown".

"I could write a little number about Vietnam or Afghanistan or Spiderman and Gok Wan in a transit van with a vegetarian, But I won't..."

A Week in the Life.

Mornin' peeps.

Sorry I havent been blogging properly; its been a busy week! As you all know, I quit Hunter's Chase Recently. After recieving a text message from a good friend of mine last night, telling me that Hunter's Chase are "Nothing Without You" meaning me, I have decided that I WILL BE RETURNING TO MUSICADEMY. Could someone tell me what date is the next one after today please, as I really canot be bothered today.

Anyway, the past week.
I was living with Melody for the first few days. Brilliant, she didnt kill me at Tesco, OR Netto. Made Bang Bang Chicken twice during the week and played lots of Spore: Galactic Adventures. I actually think that Mel and I MAY be able to live together one day without getting strangled. Only problem was my snoring.

SHE KICKED ME IN THE SOLAR PLEXUS THE OTHER NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, on Wednesday I went to the dentist and mel stayed over again. She also stayed over Thursday night! Thus, I missed her last night when she didnt stay.

On Thursday and Friday I helped the YMCA out with NG Fuzion. I did the lighting and really rocked up the Beatboxing. Beatboxing is actually growing on me. To be honest, I enjoyed it more than I should. Mel would have killed me if she'v seen me boppin' to MotorMouf's Beatz! And BIG Respect to Khanage, J.Rymz, Crossy and most importantly, Jamie Rybett who did a brilliant Michael J tribute. Bless the lil' blighter!
